Health Update

Dear friend and prayer partner! I greet you in the name of the Sovereign Lord Jesus Christ who is most worthy to be praised!As you know from my last news update, I am facing prostate cancer surgery - the removal of my prostate. My doctor here in Kingston, Jamaica and I have discussed the options and he has suggested that if I can get the robotic surgery that would be preferable to regular surgery. This kind of surgery cuts down on blood loss and recovery time is much quicker than traditional surgery. But such a surgery is not available in Jamaica so I must get it done in the USA. The costs are still to be determined as they depend on where I do the surgery and if I can find a doctor (and hospital) to waive or reduce their fee. But it could be in the range of US$40,000 to $50,000 at cost! Could be more! Remember that I don't have health insurance!Several persons are checking to find a urologist who would help me by waiving his/her fee and thus lowering the costs. I am asking you to do the same. Can you check with your friends and contacts for a urologist who would perform the surgery pro bono and possibly a hospital that would reduce their fee! God is STILL in the miracle working business. Please see what you can do to help me.
